This message inserts a new column in a list-view control. You can send this message explicitly or by using the ListView_InsertColumnmacro.

Syntax 

LVM_INSERTCOLUMN 
wParam = (WPARAM)(int) 
iCol; 

lParam = (LPARAM)(const LV_COLUMN FAR *) 
pcol;

Parameters

iCol

Index of the new column.

pcol

Pointer to an LVCOLUMNstructure that contains the attributes of the new column.

Return Value

The index of the new column indicates success. –1 indicates failure.
