This function obtains extended information about the version of the operating system that is currently running on a remote Windows Embedded CE–based device.

Syntax 

BOOL CeGetVersionEx(
  LPCEOSVERSIONINFO 
lpVersionInformation 
);

Parameters

lpVersionInformation

[out] Long pointer to a CEOSVERSIONINFOdata structure that the function fills with operating system version information.

Before calling the CeGetVersionExfunction, set the dwOSVersionInfoSizemember of the CEOSVERSIONINFOdata structure to 'sizeof(CEOSVERSIONINFO)'.

Return Value

Nonzero indicates success. Zero indicates failure. To get extended error information, call CeGetLastErrorand CeRapiGetError.

Remarks

CeGetVersionExfails if you specify an invalid value for the dwOSVersionInfoSizemember of the CEOSVERSIONINFOstructure.
