This function obtains a list of the network interface adapters on the local system.

Syntax

  PIP_INTERFACE_INFO 
pIfTable, 
  PULONG 
dwOutBufLen 
);

Parameters

pIfTable

[in, out] Pointer to an IP_INTERFACE_INFOstructure containing the list of adapters. This buffer should be allocated by the caller.

dwOutBufLen

[out] Pointer to the size, in bytes, of the buffer indicated by pIfTable. If the buffer is NULL, or is not large enough to contain the list of adapters, the function sets this parameter to the required size.

Return Value

Returns NO_ERROR if successful. If the function fails, it returns an error code. For example, GetInterfaceInforeturns ERROR_OUTOFMEMORY if no memory is available. For a complete list of error codes, see Error Valuesor the SDK header file Winerror.h.
