This function retrieves the handle to the window (if any) that has captured the mouse or stylus input. Only one window at a time can capture the mouse or stylus input.

Return Values

The handle of the capture window associated with the current thread indicates success. NULL indicates that no window in the thread has captured the mouse.

Remarks

A NULL return value does not mean no other thread or process in the system has captured the mouse; it just means the current thread has not captured the mouse.

Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
