The DSBPOSITIONNOTIFYstructure is used by the IDirectSoundNotify::SetNotificationPositionsmethod.

typedef struct {
DWORD
dwOffset
;
HANDLE
hEventNotify
;
} DSBPOSITIONNOTIFY, *LPDSBPOSITIONNOTIFY;

typedef const DSBPOSITIONNOTIFY *LPCDSBPOSITIONNOTIFY;

Members

dwOffset
Offset from the beginning of the buffer where the notify event is to be triggered, or DSBPN_OFFSETSTOP.
hEventNotify
Handle to the event to be signaled when the offset has been reached.

Remarks

The DSBPN_OFFSETSTOP value in the dwOffsetmember causes the event to be signaled when playback or capture stops, either because the end of the buffer has been reached (and playback or capture is not looping) or because the application called the IDirectSoundBuffer::Stopor IDirectSoundCaptureBuffer::Stopmethod.

Requirements

Runs On Versions Defined in Include Link to
Windows CE OS 2.12 or later. Version 2.12 requires DXPAK 1.0 or later. dsound.h
