Determines the size of the transport buffer.

Parameters

pAlloc
Pointer to the IMemAllocatorobject used by the output pin.
pProperties
Requested allocator properties for count, size, and alignment, as specified by the ALLOCATOR_PROPERTIESstructure.

Return Values

Returns NOERROR if successful; otherwise, returns an HRESULTvalue indicating the error. HRESULTcan be one of the following standard constants, or other values not listed.

E_FAIL Failure.
E_POINTER Null pointer argument.
E_INVALIDARG Invalid argument.
E_NOTIMPL Method isn't supported.

Remarks

This member function overrides the CTransformFilter::DecideBufferSizemember function. It is called when the filter must provide its own allocator. Allocator requirements are obtained from the filter's input pin and passed to the output pin.
