This function registers a callback for device notifications.
BOOL RegisterNotificationRoutine( USB_HANDLE hDevice , LPDEVICE_NOTIFY_ROUTINE lpNotifyRoutine , LPVOID lpvNotifyParameter );
Parameters
- hDevice
- [IN] Handle to a USB device.
- lpNotifyRoutine
- [IN] Pointer to the address of a notification callback.
- lpvNotifyParameter
- [IN] Pointer to the parameter to pass to
lpNotifyRoutine.
Return Values
TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.
Remarks
Currently, the only notification that a callback can be registered for is USB_CLOSE_DEVICE.
Requirements
Runs on Versions Defined in Include Link to Windows CE OS 2.10 and later Note This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
