This function resets the valid counts for a given packet.

VOID NdisRecalculatePacketCounts(
IN OUT PNDIS_PACKET
Packet
);

Parameters

Packet
Pointer to the packet descriptor.

Remarks

If a driver explicitly modifies a buffer descriptor chain for a packet descriptor, that driver should call this function with the modified packet. In general, an NDIS driver should avoid modifying buffer descriptor chains that it sets up, and a driver must not modify chains set up by other drivers.

This call resets the valid counts for the packet to FALSE, thus forcing NdisQueryPacketto recalculate the buffer count for the modified packet if it is called subsequently with that packet.

A driver that calls this function can run at any IRQL.

Requirements

Runs on Versions Defined in Include Link to
Windows CE OS 2.0 and later Ndis.h
Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
