This function stops a Miniport's interrupt service routine (ISR) from being called to handle NIC interrupts.

VOID NdisMDeregisterInterrupt(
IN PNDIS_MINIPORT_INTERRUPT
Interrupt
);

Parameters

Interrupt
Pointer to an interrupt object previously registered with the NdisMRegisterInterruptfunction.

Remarks

This function releases the association between the initialized interrupt object at Interruptand the caller's MiniportISRfunction. It also releases the driver's claim on the interrupt vector or level in the registry.

This function can be called from the MiniportInitializeor the MiniportHaltfunction only if MiniportInitializepreviously made a successful call to NdisMRegisterInterrupt.

The miniport should disable its NIC from generating interrupts before it calls this function. After this function returns control, the miniport cannot call the NdisMSynchronizeWithInterruptfunction.

A driver that calls this function runs at IRQL PASSIVE_LEVEL.

Requirements

Runs on Versions Defined in Include Link to
Windows CE OS 2.0 and later Ndis.h
