This function enables an application to transmit bytes to the serial port.

Parameters

COM_Write
Handle returned by the COM_Openfunction.
pSourceBytes
Pointer to bytes to be written.
NumberOfBytes
Specifies the number of bytes to be written.

Return Values

The number of bytes written indicates success. A value of –1 indicates failure.

Remarks

This function is exported to users through the WriteFilefunction. This function must obey flow-control and time-out values.

Requirements

Runs on Versions Defined in Include Link to
Windows CE OS 1.0 and later Mdd.c    
Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
