CardSetEventMask

This function sets either the driver's global event mask, set initially by the CardRegisterClientfunction, or an event mask for a specified socket and function pair as specified in the CARD_EVENT_MASK_PARMSstructure.

Parameters

hCardClient
Handle obtained from CardRegisterClient.
pMaskParms
Pointer to a CARD_EVENT_MASK_PARMSstructure.

Return Values

CERR_SUCCESS indicates success. One of the following values indicates failure:

CERR_BAD_ARGS
Indicates that the pointer specified for pMaskParmsis invalid.
CERR_BAD_HANDLE
Indicates that the driver handle specified for hCardClientis invalid.
CERR_BAD_SOCKET
Indicates that the socket identifier specified for the hSocketmember of CARD_EVENT_MASK_PARMSis invalid or that no PC Card is inserted.

Remarks

If the global event mask is requested, the socket identifier in CARD_EVENT_MASK_PARMSis ignored.

To specify event masks for use with a particular socket, call the CardRequestSocketMaskfunction.

Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
