This function releases a memory or I/O window allocated by the CardRequestWindowfunction.

Parameters

hCardWin
Handle to a memory window from CardRequestWindow.

Return Values

CERR_SUCCESS indicates success. One of the following values indicates failure:

CERR_BAD_WINDOW
Indicates that a memory window handle specified for hCardWinis invalid.
CERR_BAD_HANDLE
Indicates that the client holding the window is no longer valid.
CERR_CONFIGURATION_LOCKED
Indicates that the PC Card must be placed in memory-only mode with the CardReleaseConfigurationfunction before an I/O window can be released.

Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
