ACM_Open

This function opens an ACM driver.

Parameters

dwData
Specifies a value returned from a call to the ACM_Initfunction, which the driver is free to use or ignore.
dwAccess
Specifies a requested access level, a combination of GENERIC_READand GENERIC_WRITE. The driver is free to use or ignore this value.
dwShareMode
Specifies a requested share mode, a combination of FILE_SHARE_READand FILE_SHARE_WRITE. The driver is free to use or ignore this value.

Return Values

Returns a DWORDthat is passed to the functions ACM_Read, ACM_Write, and so on, or NULL if unable to open the device.

Remarks

The ACM Driver Wrapper library (Acmdwrap.lib) always returns a constant value from this function.

Requirements

Runs on Versions Defined in Include Link to
Windows CE OS 1.0 and later     Acmdwrap.lib
Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
