This message is sent by an application to set a 32-bit value associated with the specified item in a list box.

Parameters

index
Zero-based index of the item. If this value is –1, the dwDataparameter applies to all items in the list box.
dwData
Specifies the 32-bit value to be associated with the item.

Return Values

LB_ERR indicates that an error has occurred.

Remarks

If the item is in an owner-drawn list box created without the LBS_HASSTRINGS style, this message replaces the 32-bit value contained in the lParamparameter of the LB_ADDSTRINGor LB_INSERTSTRINGmessage that added the item to the list box.

Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
