NdisDeregisterProtocol

This function releases the resources allocated when the driver calls the NdisRegisterProtocolfunction.

Parameters

Status
Pointer to a caller-supplied variable that is set to NDIS_STATUS_SUCCESS on return from this function.
NdisProtocolHandle
Specifies the handle returned by NdisRegisterProtocolwhen the driver initialized.

Remarks

NdisDeregisterProtocoldoes not unbind the protocol from adapters. This means that the caller must ensure that no adapters are bound to the protocol (by calling NdisCloseAdapter) prior to deregistering the protocol.
