CeGetClassName (RAPI)

This function retrieves the name of the class to which the specified window belongs. CeGetClassNameis a remote application interface (RAPI), which enables an application running on a desktop computer to make function calls on a Windows CE–based device.

Parameters

hWnd
Handle to the window and, indirectly, the class to which the window belongs.
lpClassName
Long pointer to the buffer that is to receive the class name string.
nMaxCount
Specifies the length, in characters, of the buffer pointed to by the lpClassNameparameter. The class name string is truncated if it is longer than the buffer.

Return Values

The number of characters copied to the specified buffer indicates success. Zero indicates failure. To get extended error information, call CeGetLastError.

Remarks

When working with RAPI for Windows CE versions 1.0 and 1.01, use the PegGetClassNamefunction.
