Description

Makes subfolders available offline whenever their parent folder is made available offline.

This entry stores the setting of the Subfolders always available offline Group Policy. Group Policy adds this entry to the registry when you enable theSubfolders always available offline policy. If you disable the policy or set it to Not configured, Group Policy deletes the entry from the registry and the system behaves as though the value is 0.

This policy automatically extends the Make available offline setting to all new and existing subfolders of a folder. Users do not have the option of excluding subfolders.

Value Meaning
0 The policy is disabled or not configured. Subfolders are not automatically included. The system asks users whether they want subfolders to be made available offline whenever they make a parent folder available offline.
1 The policy is enabled. Existing subfolders are automatically included. New subfolders are made available offline the next time the parent folder is synchronized.

Activation method

To make changes to the Subfolders always available offlinepolicy or this entry effective, you must restart Windows 2000.

This entry applies only when folders are manually cached by using the Make available offline command. It does not apply to automatically cached folders.
