HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RemoteAccess\Parameters\Ip\StaticAddressPool\
The <Pool-number> subkey represents a particular pool of static IP addresses for Routing and Remote Access servers. These subkeys are numbered, beginning with 0, in the order that the pool was created. The entries in the <Pool-number> subkeys define the range of IP addresses in the pool.
The <Pool-number> subkey is a variable representing the subkeys in the RemoteAccess\Parameters\Ip\StaticAddressPool subkey. It doesn't actually appear in the registry. We use this variable subkey to display the entries and subkeys that are common to the subkeys in the StaticAddressPool subkey.
Note
RRAS add a <Pool-number> subkey to the registry when you add a static IP address pool by defining a range in the New Address Range dialog box in Routing and Remote Access.
Tip
For more information about static address pools, see TCP/IP and remote access in Windows 2000 Help.
Caution
To create a static IP address pool, use the IP tab in Routing and Remote Access. Do not edit the registry.
