Network Connections

Description

The Network Connections subkey contains entries that store Group Policy settings for Network and Dial-up Connections. The entries in this subkey are written and maintained by Group Policy, and are read and interpreted by the Network and Dial-up Connections program.

This subkey in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE stores entries related to policies that apply to all users of this computer. There is also a Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Network Connections subkey in HKEY_CURRENT_USER, which stores policy-related entries that are configured separately for each user.
