Data type | Range | Default value |
---|---|---|
REG_DWORD | 0x0 - 0xFFFFFFFF addresses | 0xA (10 addresses) |
Limits the number of addresses the Routing and Remote Access server gets from the DHCP server at one time.
The number of addresses in each batch cannot exceed the value of InitialAddressPoolSize. By default, the number of addresses in each batch is equal to the number of available Routing and Remote Access ports + 1. However, if InitialAddressPoolSize is less than ports + 1, Routing and Remote Access sets the batch size to the value of InitialAddressPoolSize.
The Routing and Remote Access server gets a batch of addresses when the service starts and it gets the same number of addresses each time it uses up the previous batch.
