Determines the maximum amount of disk space FRS can use to store staging files.
FRS uses staging files to encapsulate the data streams and attributes associated with each replicated file (or directory) object. The staging file is transferred among replica members where they use it to recreate the replicated object.
When the space consumed by staging files reaches the value of this entry, inbound replication is suspended. FRS tries to release space by replicating staging files to all outbound partners.
Typically, staging files reach this limit because FRS cannot offload files to an outbound partner that connects infrequently.
You can add this entry or change its value while FRS is running. You do not need to restart FRS to make the change effective.
Note
Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.
