Determines whether WINS contacts only its replication partners when performing consistency checks. Limiting the scope of a consistency check to replication partners is recommended for networks with a large number of WINS servers.

| 0 | WINS contacts the owner WINS server. (The owner WINS server is the WINS server from which the record was replicated.) |
| 1 | WINS only contacts its replication partners. If the owner of a record is a WINS replication partner, WINS contacts the owner WINS server. If the owner is not a replication partner, WINS contacts a WINS server selected randomly from its list of pull partners. |
To change the value of this entry, use the WINS console. In WINS server properties, click the Database Verification tab. This entry corresponds to the Owner servers or Randomly selected partners options in the Verify against section.
