Description

Determines whether WINS automatically backs up its database, and specifies the location where the backups are stored.

If you enter a path in the value of this entry, WINS automatically backs up its database every three hours and stores the backup in the Jet.log file in the specified path. If you delete this entry or its value, WINS does not back up the database.

Change method

To change the value of this entry, use the WINS console. On the Action menu, click Properties, and then click the Advanced tab. This entry corresponds to the Log detailed events to Windows event log box.
