Description

Specifies the number of event categories defined by the source program.

This entry is required if the source uses categories and registers a category message file (as stored in the value of CategoryMessageFile).

Note Image Note

If CategoryMessageFile entry appears in the registry for a source, then a CategoryCount entry is required for that source .
