HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\
The <Log-name> subkey is a variable representing the log-specific subkeys in the EventLog subkey. It doesn't actually appear in the registry. This variable subkey displays the entries and subkeys that are common to many of the log-specific subkeys in the EventLog subkey.
The log-specific subkeys in your registry represent event logs and bear the name of the event log. They stores configuration data that applies only to that log. This includes the logs created by Windows 2000 and its services, and logs that you create.
