This entry stores the value in the Maximum ports box in Routing and Remote Access.
To change the value of this entry, use Routing and Remote Access. Right-click Ports, click Properties, click WAN Miniport (L2TP), and then click Configure. This entry stores the value in the Maximum ports box.
Note
If you increase the value of Maximum ports so that it exceeds the value of MaxWanEndpoints, you must restart Windows 2000 to make your change effective.
.Caution
Do not change the value of this entry by editing the registry. If you do, the system cannot adjust corresponding values and L2TP might not support the number of endpoints you request.
