HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
The NonEnum subkey of the Policies subkey contains entries that tell the system not to enumerate (display) components of the Windows interface. These entries are written and maintained by Group Policy and read and interpreted by the interface programs.
The Non-Enum policy subkey in HKEY_CURRENT_USER stores entries that are configured separately for each user. There is also a Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\NonEnum subkey in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE that stores policy-related entries that apply to all users of this computer.
The entries in this subkey have the following format:
Class-ID or GUID of the component | REG-DWORD | 0 | 1 |
Group Policy stores the values of policy settings in this subkey. It adds, deletes, or changes the values of entries in this subkey when you configure related Group Policies.
Tip
For detailed information about particular Group Policy settings, see the Group Policy Reference (Gp.chm) on the Windows 2000 Resource Kit companion CD.
