Description

Determines the shape of digits in Unicode languages. The value of the NumShape entry determines whether the digits 0-9 are forced to display as European digits.

Value Meaning
0 The shape of the digits is dependent on context. European digits follow Latin text, Arabic-Indic digits follow Arabic text, and Thai digits follow Thai text. When there is no preceeding text, Windows 2000 takes both the locale and the displayed reading order into consideration:
Locale Reading order Digits
Arabic Right to Left Arabic Indic
Thai Left to Right Thai
All others Any Locale default

1 Digits are diplayed according to the default locale.
2 Digit shapes are determined by sNativeDigits.
