Data type | Range | Default value |
---|---|---|

Disables the default LAN adapter route that is installed when you install PPTP. If you disable the default route, you might need to configure static routes for hosts that are reached using a router other than the default gateway.
Value | Meaning |
---|---|
0 | The system installs default routes for each LAN adapter. |
1 | Default routes are not installed. |
Note
Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits it. PPTP users must add this entry for each interface that is not connected to the Internet.
