HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SNMP\Parameters\
The TrapConfiguration subkey stores the name of the hosts that receives trap messages for the community. Trap messages are alerts initiated by SNMP agents.
The TrapConfiguration subkey contains a series of subkeys, each of which represents one community. The entries in the community subkey identify the hosts to which the SNMP agent sends traps for that community.
The host names are stored as entries in the community subkey. The names of the host entries are ordinal numbers beginning with 0. The value of the entry can be a host name, an IP address, or an IPX address. All entries in this subkey have the REG_SZ data type.
For example, the SNMP\Parameters\TrapConfiguration subkey
contains a Community01 subkey, which represents a valid community.
The Community01 subkey contains one or more entries of the
following type: 2 REG_SZ 138.10.12.86
In this example,
the SNMP agent will send traps for Community01 to the host at the
specified IP address.
