<pod-name>

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PswdSync\Domains\

Description

The Domains subkey contains a subkey for each of the UNIX pods associated with this Windows 2000 server. The subkeys in Domains are named for the pod and store entries that apply only to the pod.

The entries listed under <pod-name> can appear in any <pod-name> subkey. Some of the entries can also appear in the PswdSync subkey. However, when they appear in PswdSync, their values apply to all pods. When the same entry appears in PswdSync and in a <pod-name> subkey, the value in the <pod-name> subkey takes precedence over the value in the PswdSync subkey when configuring the named pod.

Change method

To change the value of entries in this subkey, use the Password Synchronization Administrator. Do not edit the registry.

Note Image Note

This subkey appears in the registry when you use the Password Synchronization Administrator to configure a UNIX pod.

The <Pod-name> subkey is a variable representing the subkeys in the Domains subkeys. It doesn't actually appear in the registry. This variable subkey displays the entries that can appear in any of the Domains subkeys. The entries that actually appear in your registry depend upon the configuration of the pod.
