HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Parameters
Data type | Range | Default value |
---|---|---|
REG_DWORD | 0x1 - 0xFFFFFFFF messages | 0x1F4 (500 messages) |
Specifies the maximum number of mailslot messages queued to the Net Logon service.
The Net Logon service is designed to process incoming mailslot messages immediately, but messages can accumulate when the server is processing many requests. Each mailslot message consumes about 1500 bytes in the nonpaged memory pool until it is processed.
Reducing the value of this entry limits the amount of the nonpaged memory pool that Net Logon consumes. However, If this value is set too low, Net Logon might reject important incoming mailslot messages.
