Description

A bitmask that determines whether important features of the Remote Access service are enabled.

To enable a feature, set the bit associated with the feature to 1 or add the hexadecimal value associated with the feature to the value of ServerFlags. To enable a feature, set the bit associated with the feature to 0 or subtract the hexadecimal value associated with the feature from the value of ServerFlags.

The default value, 0x402702, enables the following features for dial-in clients and routers:

• Software compression (0x2)
• CHAP protocol (0x100)
• LCP extensions (0x200)
• Multilink protocol (0x400)
• BAP protocol (0x2000)
• Authentication not required for clients connecting over direct connect ports.

Change method

To change the value of this entry, use Routing and Remote Access Manager.

Activation method

You must stop and restart the Remote Access service before changes to these values take effect.
