Determines how long DNS records registered by the Net Logon service are saved in a memory cache in the client computer.

| 0x1 - 0x7FFFFFFF seconds | Specifies the maximum time a record is saved in the cache. |
This value applies to all records regardless of how frequently or how recently they might be referenced. It ensures that client records are always current.
Note
Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.
Tip
Increasing the value of this entry might improve performance. However, if this value is too large, the DNS record might not be updated often enough.
