Determines whether fonts other than TrueType fonts can be used in Windows-based programs.

| 0 | All installed fonts can be used. |
| 1 | Only TrueType fonts can be used. |
To change the value of this entry, double-click Fonts in Control Panel. On the Tools menu, click folder Options, and then click the TrueType Fonts tab. Select the Show only TrueType Fonts in the programs on my computer check box.
You must restart the computer before these changes take effect.

For more information on Fonts, click the Help menu in the Fonts folder.
Setting this value to 1 will not affect existing non-TrueType fonts in existing documents, nor will it prevent you from installing a non-TrueType font. It will prevent all non-TrueType fonts from appearing in the fonts list in applications.
