Description

Specifies the primary spoken language displayed by Windows 2000. The value of this entry consists of a three-letter code representing the language. The first two letters are based on the ISO 2 letter language codes for the primary language. The third letter indicates the sub-language for the locale.

Change method

To change the value of this entry, double-click Regional Options in Control Panel. Click the General tab, and then select a location from the Your locale (location): drop-down list.

This entry is used only by programs that are configured to read Win.ini files. Programs that use the standard Win32 APIs do not use this entry.
