|Data type||Range||Default value|
|REG_DWORD||0x1 - 0xFFFFFFFF seconds||(There is no default value for this entry. This value is calculated by the system based on the conditions of the lease.)|
Specifies how long the lease on the IP address for this interface is valid.
The value of this entry is equal to the difference between LeaseTerminatesTime and LeaseObtainedTime.
The client attempts to renew its lease when the value of T1 expires and, if necessary, attempts again when the value of T2 expires. By default, T1 is equal to half of the value of Lease and T2 is equal to 7/8 (87.5%) of the value of Lease.
This entry is created and maintained by the DHCP client service when the service is enabled.
This entry is maintained by DHCP for its internal use. Do not delete this entry from the registry or change its value. If you do, you might void the interface's lease on its IP address and prevent the computer from operating on the network.
