The Interfaces subkey stores configuration data specific to a TCP/IP communications interface.
The Interfaces subkey stores TCP/IP configuration data that can be configured differently for each interface used by the system. The Interfaces subkey contains one or more subkeys, each of which represents one interface. In this file, the subkey representing interfaces are represented by a generic variable subkey, <interface-name>. The entries in the <interface-name> subkeys under Interfaces apply only to the interface represented by the subkey and they override any conflicting settings in the TCPIP\Parameters subkey.
