Specifies the host name portion of the DNS name of the computer. The host name is the first label in the computer's DNS name.
To change the value of this entry, right-click My Computer, click Properties. click the Network Identification tab, and then click the Properties button. The host name appears in the Computer name field of the Identification Changes dialog box.
