This entry is added to the registry, but it is not used. In Windows NT 4.0 and earlier, the keyboard class driver used this entry to locate keyboard port device objects. In Windows 2000, the keyboard class driver locates non-Plug-and-Play keyboards by using entries in the Devicemap subkey (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\Devicemap\KeyboardClass).
