The Connections subkey stores configuration data for Network and Dial-up Connections, the Windows 2000 program for adding, removing, configuring, and monitoring RAS and LAN connections.
Note
Most of the entries in the subkeys of Connections can be changed by using Network and Dial-up Connections. Whenever possible, use Network and Dial-up Connections and avoid editing the registry.
Tip
To start Network and Dial-up Connections, right-click My Network Places and then click Properties, or in Control Panel, double-click Network and Dial-up Connections.
