The Winlogon subkey stores configuration data for the Winlogon service. Winlogon provides support for interactive logon to Windows 2000.
The Winlogon subkey of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software stores data that applies to all users of the computer. There is also a Winlogon subkey in HKEY_CURRENT_USER that stores user-specific settings for Winlogon.
