Read this section if you run FSA Reporting on multiple non-NTFS file servers (NetApp or EMC Celerra file servers), in a site with multiple Enterprise Vault servers.
Non-NTFS file servers require a proxy server for FSA Reporting. The proxy server performs the FSA Reporting scans. Enterprise Vault has changed the way that it allocates a proxy server for a non-NTFS file server:
This distributed allocation allows for more efficient FSA Reporting scans and scan data uploads.
To use the new distributed allocation mechanism after you upgrade, disable and then re-enable FSA Reporting on each of the non-NTFS file servers.
