Use the incident log to make temporary notes about observations or steps taken in response to FRS conditions or events. This is useful in organizations where multiple people administer FRS and want other administrators to be aware of changes made to the topology, troubleshooting steps, or general observations about FRS behavior.
Entries in the incident log are stored in the database and are not kept indefinitely. Instead, they are purged according to the purge parameters described in To configure Ultrasound options. Therefore, do not store critical information in the incident log.
