When troubleshooting FRS, you have a number of options:
If you do not know what the problem is, you can follow the
steps in the FRS
Troubleshooter to diagnose and repair the problem.
If you have reviewed the File Replication Service event log and
know the event ID of the FRS problem, see Troubleshooting FRS
Using Event Logs for a list of common FRS problems and links to
information on how to repair those problems. You can also search
this Help file for specific event IDs.
If you are using Sonar or Ultrasound and have detected an FRS
problem, the documentation for those tools will often refer you to
a topic in the FRS
Troubleshooting Topics for specific steps to repair the
problem.
