To configure default notifications

1. On the Tools menu, click Default Notifications.
2. Click Add, and do any of the following:
   • To configure emails, click Send e-mail and type an e-mail address.
   • To log an event, click Log event. Events will be logged in the Application event log on the server where the controller is installed.

E-mail messages cannot be sent until you specify the SMTP server, and the SMTP server must support anonymous access. To specify the SMTP server, see To configure Ultrasound options.
