Providers are deployed only when the console is running. If you begin provider deployment and then attempt to exit the console, a warning message indicates that provider deployment will cease after you close the console. After you restart the console, you are prompted to start provider deployments by clicking the Start Provider Deployment button in the Configure Ultrasound dialog box. Provider deployments are not restarted automatically because Ultrasound cannot determine whether you are logged into the console using the administrative credentials required to deploy providers on remote servers. Before starting provider deployment, make sure that you are logged in using an appropriate account. See Deploying Providers for information about the credentials required for deploying providers.
