Settings Column Set

This column set shows some key parameters of the FRS members. New information in this column set includes:

UpdateTime

The time Sonar last collected data from this member.

VerLatestChanges

The FRS version string for this member.

BURFLAGS

The Backup Restore Flags are active for this member. This is useful for confirming that the entire replica set has been correctly configured during the Authoritative Restore process.

USNJournalSize

The FRS registry setting for the NTFS USN journal size. If 0, then this indicates default. The default sizes are as follows:

• Windows 2000 SP2 and earlier: 32 MB
• Windows 2000 SP3: 128 MB
• Windows 2000 SP3 with the post-Service Pack 3 release of Ntfrs.exe, described in article 815473: 512 MB
• Windows 2000 SP4: 512 MB
• Windows Server 2003: 128 MB
• Windows Server 2003 with the pre-Service Pack 1 release of Ntfrs.exe described in article 823230: 512 MB.

Note that 128MB of journal is recommended per 100,000 files in the replica set. For more information about the staging directory, see Adjust the Staging Directory Size Accordingly.
