The NAV shield will briefly appear in the System Tray on login, but then disappear. To have it stay on permanently, you need to edit the registry.

To do this, follow the next steps:

1. To open the Registry Editor click on the Start button on your taskbar, then click on Run and type "regedit" and click on OK to start the utility.
    
2. Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\INTEL\LANDesk\VirusProtect6\CurrentVersion\AdministratorOnly\General.
    
3. Change the value "ShowVPicon" to "1".
    
4. The modifications you made will be in effect after you reboot your PC.
