Network Tweaks - Enable the Network Adapter Onboard Processor

If your network adapter has an onboard processor, designed to offload network processing from the system CPU, it is disabled by default. This setting allows you to enable it and increase the processing speed of your system.

Enable the Network Adapter Onboard Processor, follow the next steps:

  1. Open the Registry Editor click on the Start button on your taskbar, then click on Run and type "regedit" and click on OK to start the regedit utility.

  2. Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters (see picture 1).
